Our Teaching and Learning Philosophy-

School is the first environment that a child enters after the snug comfort of home. To make the transition seamless and exciting for young learners, Bright Tulips school ensures that they are not only safe and happy but are also excited to come to school. With the National Education

Policy 2020 as the pivot point, we have curated our academic landscape with care. The school's teaching philosophy follows an activity-based learning approach for the primary years. The methodology is modern, innovative and child-friendly.

The school provides a safe and intellectually challenging environment for its middle and senior wings that will empower the students to be innovative thinkers, dynamic leaders, creative problem solvers and lifelong learners prepared to thrive in the 21st Century. Every society wishes for their young to develop into successful, versatile, healthy, kind and rational individuals. This has inspired us to create an integral ecosystem of scholastic and co-scholastic pursuits. While we help our pupils learn the rigor of academics, we also assist them in becoming physically and emotionally healthy individuals who may prove valuable to society in the future.

Foundational Stage (Nursery- Grade II) :

We consider learning in a fun atmosphere the most effective and engaging way of working with young learners. It is in the early years that the foundation for all future learning is laid. Early learning experience is focused on the development of intellectual, cognitive, social, physical and emotional skills.

Hence, our foundational stage programme is a commitment to inquiry and exploration as vehicles for learning. In a safe and caring environment, our dedicated educators ensure to foster innate curiosity in children through concrete hands-on experiences. Our teaching methods are carefully chosen to ensure good progress and to meet the needs of our young learners.

The curriculum for Nursery, LKG and HKG is play-based and child-centered, recognizing the students’ multiple intelligences and encouraging creative thinking. A day in the classroom involves structured time, academic learning, with a good balance of free-play, both indoors and outdoors.

Preparatory Stage (Grade III to V):

Since its inception, BTIS School is striving to make a transition from content to competencies. This holds more importance in the preparatory stage of a student’s life. In the preparatory stage, the students form sound study habits and develop skill sets necessary to operate in social settings. The lesson plans are designed to be more learner-centric and exploratory. We do not see the scholastic and co-scholastic subjects in isolation; rather a typical school day witnesses a beautiful amalgamation of all spheres of learning, integrated with one another. Key areas such as mental Mathematics, simple Science experiments, Coding and STEM education, etc are an integral part of the curriculum.

At Bright Tulips School, our little ones learn skills, acquire new knowledge and demonstrate their understanding through:

We give them opportunities to hone their talents through public speaking, role plays, debates, declamations, coding, STEM education etc. Co-Curricular activities are given at the middle stage as well and include Talent-shows, Quiz, Art and Craft, Dramatics, Debating etc. The students of these classes are also involved in working for the betterment of the Socially and Emotionally Disadvantaged Groups through various special assemblies.

Continuing into the Middle School (Grades VI to VIII), the curriculum is designed for students to experience the joy of learning, gain a deep understanding of important concepts, develop research and experimental skills and learn to accept personal responsibility for actions, decisions and outcomes. Our goal is to help each student to attain his/her fullest potential, along with the fundamental knowledge and skills that will allow him/her to function effectively as a participating and contributing citizen of our society.

SECONDARY & HIGHER SECONDARY Stage (Grade IX to XII):

At the Secondary Stage, we offer a 3600 view of every student’s aptitude and strengths before they choose subjects/streams through professional guidance by our career counselling partners. We believe in monitoring each student to achieve his /her best potential. We provide remedial classes to enhance students’ performance. Fully equipped science labs of Physics, Chemistry and Biology focus on Learning by Doing to give wings to the scientific temperament of our students.
